Hi — my name is Staci. I am a luxury maternity, baby, and newborn photographer, working with clients in Charleston, SC, and all surrounding areas.

My style is neutral, soft, and classic. Expecting a new bundle of joy is the most exciting news for expecting parents! My goal is to capture meaningful, joy-filled memories that will last a lifetime.

As a professional baby photographer for the past 15 years, I have the experience, skills, and patience needed to ensure your newborn is safe and happy. I am thrilled to have been named one of the best newborn photographers in the Charleston area in 2022.

Newborn Photography

Your baby only stays tiny for a short period of time. The first year is such a magical time, and they grow so fast. I love capturing imagery to preserve the most cherished moments of your growing family.

Other photographers just take photos, but my goal is to create timeless photos that show the love and connection between you and your new baby. I find that a newborn session is best when done during the first two weeks.

Newborn Session FAQs

When to book a newborn session?

It’s never too early to book a newborn photography session. Booking a newborn session early ensures you don’t miss your chance to capture those precious moments. I am typically booked 4 to 8 weeks out. I always try to fit last-minute requests into my schedule, but it is not always possible. After I receive your deposit, I will put your baby’s due date on my calendar. After your baby arrives, we will set a date between 6 to 14 days after birth.

Where are newborn sessions held?

Newborn photography sessions can take place in the comfort of your home.

My newborn is already here. Can I still book a newborn session?

It can still be done, but I don’t always have last-minute availability. Please reach out, and I’d be happy to let you know if I have any openings.

How should I prepare for the newborn photography session?

I will send you a PDF with instructions on how to prepare for your session. It's best to follow simple instructions to ensure the baby will be calm and be asleep for your session.

My goal is to have a stress-free session and get beautiful photos that you will get so many compliments from! I will also talk before your session to see if you have any questions.

Where are my newborn photography clients from?

The majority of my clients are from the Charleston area, including areas like Mount Pleasant SC, James Island, Daniel Island, Folly Beach, and many other surrounding areas.

When is the best time for a maternity photography session?

As an experienced maternity photographer, I have found that the best time to take your maternity photos is around the 32-34 week mark of your pregnancy.
